40th Meeting Chairman's Report |
|
The 40th meeting of the WebSphere Integration User Group (UK) was held on the 27th January at IBM South Bank, London as part of the WebSphere Conference. The meeting was a special 'credit crunch' version, consisting of two parallel streams of two sessions each. We managed to get over 50 of you away from your desks to hear the latest information from our speakers on WMQ version 7.0.1, Message Broker version 7, and BPM.
The half-day format meant city based workers had the chance to be back at their desks after lunch without too much downtime. In principle, I'd hope to do more of this type of event in the future as it seemed to be a great success. As usual, we asked for feedback forms to be filled in and we will be reading your comments with interest to see what we can improve on for next time.
Mike Wyvill, Chairman, WebSphere Integration User Group (UK).
